It's Been a Busy Week

So it's been a crazy busy week with us and that's why I haven't been posting as much. My grandma has been staying with Dalton and I since Chantz is out of town right now for ACAP. She is like me in always wanting to change things in houses so we have been super busy these past couple of days. I have been super busy at work with inventory counts going on and then with school I have a test this weekend and halloween is coming in two days. Dalton's babysitter is sick right now with the stomach virus and bronchitus all at the same time so today he is with nana and tomorrow I'm probably going to have to take off with him. I made his valance for his new Lightning McQueen bedroom last night and it looks awesome. It's checkered flag material I'll post pictures of it tomorrow. His car bed is coming along great. I've been working on his bathroom with is Diego animal explorer themed for a while now and it's pretty much done except for the light fixture and the floors and door knobs. I will post pictures of the final thing probably next week. Other than that we haven't been doing a whole lot with the house lately. I've just been trying to catch up with school stuff and get all of our holiday events done. We got Aggie his halloween costume two nights ago and I tried to get pictures of him in it and he was trying to jump out of it basically so that didn't work out too well. Dalton and I are both ready for Daddy to come home. Neither of us have been sleeping good without him home and we miss him terribly.

Hi Angela! Happy Halloween! I hope you guys had a great day!!!!

Thanks so much for your comments on my post the other day. It really helped to read your experience and your mom's experience with the dogs. That is great that your uncle was able to take yours - I wish that I had somebody in my family or a friend who could at least have my dogs temporarily so that I wouldn't feel like I had to say goodbye forever. Sadly, it seems like everyone I know either has a big dog (and my dogs freak out with big dogs) or they don't want anything to do with any animals. But Man's Best Friend sounds awesome - I appreciate you telling me about that, I'm going to look into it because that is cheaper than the Dog Lady and sounds better if it's for a lifetime! Both of my dogs are fixed so I don't know why this behavior came out of nowhere when they were two years old! Some people say it's because they sensed Logan was coming, but it started a month before I got pregnant so it's hard for me to understand! Thank you for the prayers!

I can't wait to see pics of Aggie and Dalton on Halloween! Hopefully you were able to get some of Aggie in his costume :)

Have fun putting out your Thanksgiving decorations tomorrow and finishing Dalton's bedroom! That is so nice that your grandma likes to help you around the house. I can imagine that would be very hard to have to be away from your husband more than you'd prefer (especially with a child) - what a relief that he will be out of the Army soon!

I also hope Dalton's babysitter is recovered from being sick and that your test went well!

I know exactly how you feel with not sleeping well without the hubs. I can't wait to see pictures of the bedroom and of the costume for Halloween. Hope you had a great weekend!
