Happy Fathers Day!!!

I want to wish all the daddys out there a Happy Fathers Day!!! and a special Happy Fathers Day to our very own Daddy. I couldn't have picked a better man to be the father of my kids. Dalton loves you more than you can imagine. It's adorable the way no matter what Dalton is doing when Daddy comes home he jumps up and runs over to you and starts laughing and making crazy faces. Dalton loves every moment his Daddy is home, and we just found out recently that Daddy is not going to be moved to a different unit in the army like he was going to have to and instead he gets to stay home with us!!! We couldn't have had a better fathers day gift than that. We love you with our whole hearts and words can't describe how lucky we are to have you:):):)

Dalton's First Birthday Party!!!

Dalton's One Year Birthday Party was on May 16th and it was great!!! Dalton had an elmo party since Elmo is one of his favorite things. We had his party at the pavilion in the park in Harpers Landing subdivision. Mommy and Daddy were a little worried at first because it was rainy outside early that day but by the time Dalton's party started it warmed up and got very sunny:) We couldn't have done it without Dalton's Uncle Aaron's help. That morning Uncle Aaron woke up at the crack of dawn (which by the way is a first in his life) came over and helped Chantz and I get everything ready. He helped us blow up all the balloons, make the balloon towers, help prepare the watermelon basket, put out signs and set up decorations. The party had a great turnout and Dalton had a blast which was my main goal. He got a TON of gifts (I should've bought a bigger house because it looks like we live in toy land;)) and he loved all of them. He was the cutest eating his personal birthday cake, he even shared some with daddy ;). People were trying to get him to share with them but he would only share with his daddy. It was too cute. Thank you to all of his friends and family that came to share this special day with him. We enjoyed seeing all of you.

WooHoo Pool Time!!!!

So we recently learned that we have a little water bug named Dalton;) He LOVES the pool and being in the water. We thought he was going to be scared of the water since one time his head touched the water while he was in the bathtub, but boy were we wrong.
Getting ready to leave to go to the pool and swim!!!

Daddy had to hold him because he wouldn't stand still far enough away he kept trying to come and grab the camera out of my hands.
This is him waiting for me to fill his baby frog pool in the backyard for him.
There are more pool pictures that were taken of him actually playing in the water I just haven't had a chance to upload them. They will be coming soon. Stay tuned!!!

Dalton Walking!!!

Dalton took his first steps a while ago back on good friday but he actually just took off walking out of no where on May 23rd at Pops house. These are some pictures of him walking in our house when we got home.
My little Batman is running away from me with his book.

But now he's bringing it back to me so we can read it and lay down to go night night. Aren't these the cutest pajamas??? Thanks Uncle Mike and Aunt Tina:):):)
Obviously in this picture Dalton is yelling at me because I'm disturbing him while he's focusing on doing something lol. He's at the age where he wants to do everything himself and he doesn't want you to mess with him. My little independent pumpkin:):)

Dalton's One Year Pictures

We took Dalton to get his one year pictures this past weekend and they came out great!!!! He did so well and Chantz and I can't believe he's already one. Time flies!!!! I don't know why some of them are small and some are big but these are some of my favorites out of the set!!!

Nacagdoches

Dalton, Chantz and I went to Nacagdoches a couple of weekends ago to see Pop (Dalton's great great grandfather). This was really crazy because this is when Dalton decided to start walking. It was like he had it in him the whole time he just was waiting until he saw Pop. When we got there I put him on the floor and he kept looking at him and then he just got up and walked all the way across the living room and then went right over to him. It was amazing and brought tears to my eyes. Dalton loved Pops little dog and the cows that were there. He was pointing at them and talking :):) It was a wonderful visit and made our weekend great!!!

Chuck E Cheese

We took Dalton to Chuck E Cheese on his First Birthday which was May 20th!!!! He had alot of fun and it wasn't too crowded so he really got to enjoy the rides. He loved climbing in this jungle gym thing but my camera died before he got to go on that so I have no pictures of it:(:(
Dalton wanted to stomp on those things with his feet not use the bopper but he was still holding it:) It's just easier to use those feet lol!!!!
Dalton had gotten shots earlier that morning so he was still a little sore and feeling a little crummy but he still had fun.

Yum Yum Pizza!!!

Dalton watching ChuckE Dance on stage!!!

He was clapping his hands along while chuck e was dancing. But he also had his eyes on those balloons from the birthday party that was going on lol.

Mother's Day

This Mothers Day was my first Mothers Day and it was Wonderful. Thank you Chantz for making it so special!!!!

My first boquet for Mothers Day was this beautiful Hersheys Cookies and Cream (my favorite candy) one. I got this one at home when Chantz got home from work. It was so yummy!!!
My second one was sent to me at work the Friday before Mothers Day. I love lilies and I always wanted flowers sent to me at work so I was so excited when I got a call from the receptionist telling me I had a package to come pick up at the front:):):)

On Mothers Day Chantz blind folded me and him and Dalton took me to the park to have a picnic lunch, feed the ducks and play on the swings. After that we went to the mall and I got some candles for the house that smell amazing.(chantz thinks they smell like soap though lol) Then we came home and bbqd and took Dalton for a walk. We had been so busy with the house that it was nice to just relax and spend some time just the three of us:):) It was really bright outside that's why we both have chinese eyes:):)

Easter 2009

For Easter we went to Galveston with Uncle Mike, Aunt Tina, Matt, Kevin, Nana, Papa and Uncle Robert. This was the first time Uncle Mike and his family got to see Dalton since he's been born because they live in New York. We had such a good time even though it was kind of cold and rainy most of the time.

The first day we were there we took Dalton to the strand. He rode on Uncle Aaron's shoulders most of the time while we were walking.
This was earlier that same day on the beach with Poppy:):) He loves his poppy, no matter how crabby he is when poppy walks in he is happy. It was cold the first day as you can see by Dalton wearing a sweat shirt and jeans.
More pictures will come soon when I get them from Aunt Tina. I left my camera in the hotel during rainforest cafe and the second day at the beach feeding the seagulls, but luckily Aunt Tina didn't so we have some pictures of it.

More of Easter 2009

When we got home from Galveston, we had an Easter Egg Hunt for Dalton in the backyard and his Aunt Brittany came to see him.
He loved playing with the eggs. Everytime he would find one he would want to bang it in his hands with another one. He never wanted to put them in the basket, he just wanted to hold all of them:):)

This is Dalton and I waiting in line for pictures with the Easter Bunny. When we sat on the easter bunny Dalton didn't want to look at the camera he would just sit there and stare and the bunny's head and wanted to touch it.
This is me trying to put this little bunny hat I made him on his head and him taking if off like all his other hats:):):) Dalton hates to wear hats on his head. He pulls them right off sometimes so quick I can't even grab a picture.
