Ok on to my Disney Vacation Posts Continued

Today we went to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. I have been to Disney numerous times but we have never been to this park before. This is the newest park I believe that Disney has which is probably why we've never been since my brother and I were older and preferred Universal after this one was built. I am actually surprised that I didn't care too much for this park. I thought we were going to love it because of all the animals and they make it sound like it is a huge Lion King . Well that really wasn't the case for us. One thing I did like was the huge "circle of life" tree. It's really neat in real person to see so I got Dalton and Chantz's picture while we were walking towards it. It actually has all the animals carved in it which is really neat.
Then we found this cute little set up that you could pop your heads in.
My little man is the cutest scubadiver!!!! I know a shark would eat that cute thing in a second haha.
I got on the other side so we could be scuba diving friends!!! I have never scuba dived and I want to so bad but ever since I saw the movie Open Water I got some second thougths lol. We were in Galveston one time and I saw a "dolphin" fin and told my family in the water with me oh look a dolphin. Well it was not that far away and I felt a little weird with some animal swimming that close to me so we all went in. A week later when we were at the mall my uncle told me that was a shark fin but he didn't say anything because he knew we would've all freaked out and drew attention to ourselves and brought the shark that way. I almost had a heart attack hearing that so now I don't really know about the whole scuba diving thing. I would probably think something is pretty and go to touch it and it try to eat me haha. I am not that good with sea life I think they are really neat but I always seem to not know the difference of the good ones and the bad ones hahaha. Anyways back to Animal Kingdom. They had these cute little figures all throughout the park since the park is pretty much all woods and plants.

You can see Mickey and Pluto fishing behind Chantz and Dalton. And then of course here is Donald there pal across from them fishing as well.
We went the perfect way because we were in character town and it was so early in the morning it wasn't packed and the lines weren't that long. We got to see Chip and Dalton. I didn't know this but they say that the one with the black nose is Chip "like a chocolate chip nose" and then the one with the red nose is Dalton and Dale is the boss Chip is the follower. Interesting I've never known that haha.
All the characters were in these cute little tree house hut things right next to each other. So next we waited in line to see Donald Duck. It was adorable because him and Dalton matched clothes.
Dalton thought he was cute because he was sitting on his legs when we walked up to him so he really looked like a little duck on the floor and Dalton thought that was funny.
Then we went to go see Goofy. Goofy was one of Dalton's favorites an dI am so glad the disney photographers got his face on camera when he was clapping his hands with Goofy.
Look at that huge smile. Then they were dancing and clapping together.
Then we went to "Africa" where we were supposed to see a whole bunch of animals. We were in front of this thing that looked like a cross between a zebra and a horse I can't remember what they were called though haha.
Here we are by a hippo skull. I couldn't believe how big they were.
There are a whole bunch of trails that you can see different kinds of monkeys and birds and stuff on. Chantz and Dalton are looking at a bird .
Then we saw a whole bunch of fishies. Dalton liked to bang on the glass but we were telling him not to since I think of nemo when he does that and the poor fish shake when little kids do that in the movie.
Then we went on a rafikis watch which is a train that brings you around the park and see some animals and goes to a petting zoo and stuff.

This is the amazing safari ride at Animal Kingdom.
We went on this ride and saw a TON of animals. I just wanted to see more lions and tigers and there was only one but other than that this was a pretty exciting ride as the animals are literatly RIGHT next to your car.
After that we decided to eat lunch. We were sitting under at tree and we kept saying oh look at that cute bird that's sitting in the tree above us. Well sure enough right as we're finishing the bird poops on poppy's shirt haha. It was hilarious and I thought nana was going to choke she was laughing so hard. This is him showing me the bird poop on his shirt.

On our way to "Asia" we saw Tarzan's best friend that's a monkey in the movie. I can't remember her name but she is so cute we had to get a picture with her. She was putting her thumb in her mouth mimicking Dalton haha.
While we were waiting in line to see her Baloo and King Louis from Jungle Book walked right past us and King Louis hit Daddy in the head. It was really funny. We went to go see them next and Dalton was so sweet with them. He gave both of them a hug I wish I had a picture of him hugging Baloo it was adorable.
We wanted to ride the raft river boat ride while we were in Asia but the ride was having difficulties so we left and went to Dino Land. 
In Dino Land Poppy and I went on a really fun fast roller coaster ride and then we took Dalton on a triceratops ride that is just the same as dumbo and he liked that.

We let Dalton throw a penny in every water fountain we saw including the one at Rainforest Cafe in the front of Animal Kingdom. Since this park closes the earliest to care for the animals and also there wasn't as many things to do there, we left early and went home to take a nap. When we woke up we went to go eat dinner and then we went to some of the gift shops on 192. There are so many neat shops here because they have like a person or animal that is like the whole body of the store. Example is below with the wizard gift shop. It's dark so you can't really see but he is like the length of the whole shop and then there's some animal ones and a mermaid one too that are really neat.
We had another great day in Florida today and now tomorrow is Epcot!!!Wednesday October 7th, 2009
Well today was the day we went to Disney's Epcot Park. This is the park of Disney with the well known ball. Chantz calls it a giant golf ball.
The first thing we did was go on the ride that is inside the ball which is a really neat ride. Then we went right next door to see all the characters!!!
Dalton was so cute while waiting in line. He was trying to crawl under the bars and he was saying HI to everyone that came in line:):)
I was holding Dalton when it was about to be his turn next. He is looking so seriously at Micke Mouse but you can see the start of his smile as he's realizing it's about to be his turn with them.
And of course once I set him down he just went balistic and started clapping his hands and laughing like he did the whole vacation with characters!!!
He was smiling so big when Mickey gave him hugs!!
There goes Dalton with the noses here too!!
I just love all the pictures with Dalton and Mickey Mouse!!!
Next in line was Pluto and he was another one of Dalton's favorites. Dalton seemed to like the fuzzy ones the best like Goofy, Pluto, Baloo and Tarzan's friend.
The next character was Minnie Mouse and Dalton like dancing with her too.
Then we went to see Donald and nana and papa went with Dalton to take their picture.
And the last character in the character building was Goofy. We got a really good group shot with Goofy here at Epcot.
While we were still in the process of trying to get to the beginning of the lake with all the different countries we were stopped by two characters. I'm not sure who this first one is but Dalton sure did like his nose!!
I went to buy one of those squirting fans to help keep us cool cause we could already tell it was going to be hot one and the one we brought with us broke because the battery melted in it.
I do know this one though. It's Rafiki from Lion King!!! Dalton kept starting at him like "what is that thing" hahaha.
And now we come to Dalton's favorite part of Epcot haha. The jumping water falls!!!!
We let him play in them for a while because it was so hot but he SCREAMED when we put him back in his stroller to get on with the park.
Here Chantz and I are in Japan!!! Epcot is a park that has every country with their buildings, foods, languages, customs, dresses, etc. all spread out around a HUGE lake which we're standing in front of. It's really neat because you feel like you're on vacation in each of those countries!!!
Here we are in Italy in front of some famous statue water feature that is really in Italy.
Right after Italy there was a cute little mini train track that you could watch a train go in and around a little trail that they built. It was really neat to watch it go through the little town.
And then of course this is in Mexico. We made Papa wear a sombrero we found at a store there haha.
After we toured through all of the countries that were on the lake we went back up to the front. They have more rides up in the front of the park that are new. One is called soarin that Chantz and I really wanted to ride but Dalton was too small and the line was too long so we didn't go. They also have Mission which is where you are actually in a space shuttle and going through take off and it's supposed to be really neat. Chantz thought he would throw up so we didn't go on it. This is a bad picture but this is a ride that's in the front of the park called Test Track. You sit in a nascar and go through the "testing" of the tracks with the cars. We went so super fast and that thing was whipping us around like crazy I would never try that stuff in my car hahaha. This is where you get into the cars and then you go out onto the test tracks. It was awesome. Chantz and I rode this while Dalton was sleeping because he was WAY to little to go on this.

Whew after we got off and we were still alive we took a picture before walking into the car studio there to exit the ride.
In the car studio Chantz and I picked out our next cars this is mine underneathe.
And there is Chantz's. And we'll just tie Dalton and Aggie to the roof cause there isn't enough room in either of them for all four of us haha just kidding. I really did think that the car was neat though that I picked it looks like something from the future.
When we were on our way out we stopped and took a picture of Lightning Mcqueen hats on us. We are in the process of redoing Dalton's bedroom from transportation nursery to Lightning McQueen big boys room. His bed is next thing on our list. We're getting him a twin Lightning McQueen bed and I can't wait to decorate with all the cute accessories that are out there. So we took this picture to put in his room of the two people that love and adore him with us matching him room!!!!
Then we went to the building LAND. In here was circle of life ride, soarin, and a really neat ride that we went on called land of the lost. It was all about the rainforest and growing crops and stuff.
After this we went over to the Finding Nemo ride. This ride used to be called the Living Sea but now they changed it to Nemo and Im so glad they did it was adorable. You sit in these sea shells and go through the story of Nemo.

These are the jelly fish that dori and marlin go bouncing around on. The whole ride everyone is looking for Nemo and it's so cute!!!
These are real fish tanks that the now have all the characters of nemo in and you basically go through all of them in the ride and the characters jump around the tanks. Also, They go through the ship with the sharks and stuff and on the EAC with squirt and the other turtles.
When you get out of the ride there is an exhibit with a bunch of huge real tanks that have dolphins and sharks and turtles and fish and everything else you can think of. They have cute things set up from Nemo including the shark Chantz and Dalton are inside of.
And the other sharks part of the fish are friends not food group.
This is the front of the ride and they have those seagulls that say Mine Mine Mine while you're walking into the ride it's cute!!!
After we left Epcot it was time for dinner. We went to one of my favorite places to eat FRIENDLYS!!!! They only have them in Florida and NewYork and then I'm sure some other northern states that I've never been to. They have the best food and the cutest ice creams ever. This is a tradition for my family any time we go to Florida or New York we HAVE to go eat there.

Dalton loved his he could barely even wait to dig into it.
And Chocolate was EVERYWHERE on him by the time he was finished.
We all had a great time enjoying our ice creams and on the way back we stopped by one of my favorite shops. It's called shell world and we've been going to it since I was a little girl. We used to get a ton of shells from there when we were small. Well now I got to take my family there and Dalton and I got to sit on the golf cart made completely out of seashells that I always used to sit on as a little girl.
It was another Awesome Day for The Humphreys at Disney World. Stayed tuned for the back half of our trip. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are still ahead!!!!
