Last two Days of Florida Vacation-Sea World is Today

Friday October 10th, 2009

Today we went to Sea World Orlando. We had alot of fun here and saw some really neat shows with the animals. It's so amazing how they can get all of those animals to do all those tricks.

This is Dalton waiting in line while we were getting our tickets to go in the park. He was so happy and so good every day in his stroller which was very shocking because usually he hates to get in there.

We had breakfast reservations to eat with Elmo and Friends but we were a little early so we stopped at the Dolphin Nursery that was right next to the restaurant we were going to see Elmo in.

Dalton didn't really know what to think at first of the dolphins haha. There was two mommy dolphins and then like four babies. I remember her saying there were two four month olds and then one three week old and I can't remember how old the other one was.

They had this little landing in the middle that they kept jumping up on and flipping around on like they were playing. You can't really see that well but there is one up there right now.

Sea World was decorated so cute for halloween. Dalton even got to go trick or treating here and the whole theme was sea witches and pumpkin fish. It was adorable.

Dalton was holding the stems so cute here until he realized they were like paper mache pumpkins and picked one up and threw it into the street that people were walking on. Then he started throwing and pushing them and trying to kick them.

We had to show him something new before all of the pumpkins were ruined so he started looking out trying to see what he could find in the lake in the middle of the park.

Then he went to take his picture with Mister Pumpkin man!!!

And then it was finally time to go see Elmo!!! Yay!!!

Dalton was sitting with me waiting for Daddy to bring him his food. The food was AMAZING. Chantz said I looked like a pig when I got back with my plate hahaha. I couldn't help it everything looked so good and tasted amazing which was even better:):) Then while we were eating we heard music come on and boom there they were. Bert, Ernie, Oscar, and cookie monster. Wait where was Elmo???

Dalton had a complete freak out with Bert and Ernie he did not like them and kept his eye on them the whole time to follow where they were haha. Then cookie monster and Oscar came over and I told Dalton to give cookie monster a kiss and he jolted his arm back getting read to whack him in the face so I had to control him and put his arm down haha and that is why he's looking at me like mom why did you do that in this picture.

Chantz and I kept guessingt his was Oscar but he seemed to be a little more teal rather than green??

Then someone real special came on the announcements and said hey guys what about me....and guess who it was....ELMO!!!!

All the characters started dancing around on the stage and then the count came out too and joined them.

After you were finished eating you were able to go stand on stage with Elmo and The Count and talk to them.

Dalton loved them especially elmo. He thought his Elmo Live just grew huge for a second haha.

These are the only two he gave a kiss and he kissed them right on their NOSES I'm telling you he has a thing with noses haha.

I loved all of the huge Pumpkin Fish so Dalton and I decided to take a picture by them. We went to see the dolphin show, shamu believe show, manatees, alligators, sting rays which Dalton almost fell in there with them he was reaching so far to touch them, feed the dolphins, shamus happy harbour which was dalton's favorite and much more.

This is Dalton playing in the water park at Shamu's Happy Harbour. Anytime there were these fountains at a park we had to stop and let him play in there. That was his favorite thing the whole vacation hahaha.

In the Happy Harbor he got his hand made into a Shamu that is so adorable it's hanging in his animal safari bathroom right now. I love it and will cherish that forever!!!! Then we decided to take him trick or treating on the paths that were there before it got really crowded. This ice man guy was on the path playing some really fun scary halloween music.

Dalton and I made friends with these two bugs on the way while we were trick or treating. The poor one in the gray was just sweating beyond control. I felt so bad for them:(

In part of the path for trick or treating they had a maze that you had to go through to help this little purple girl find her wand that was missing.

Woohoo we helped her find her wand. And we got to take a picture with her at the end and get some yummy candy.

Dalton was super hot so we decided since we saw almost all of the shows except for the firework shows which wouldn't be happening for a while we were going to leave and get him in the ac. We had lunch before we left at this shark place and Dalton's kids meal came in this cute little lunch kit thing that he still has at home:):) He also got a shamu that moves it's tail and makes the orca sounds and then he got a shamu baseball bat and ball. Like he needed another ball ;)

Sunday October 11th, 2009

Well today is the day we went home back to Houston. We were excited to get home and see Aggie. We had the best vacation we could've had and it was so wonderful and relaxing. We ate breakfast/lunch snack at the airport. Then we were letting Dalton run around the middle of the waiting/shopping area until he found a diego ball. Yes another ball and he got it to bring with us on the plane. Luckily Aggie has not eaten it yet because it's squishy so I'm waiting for it to be in shreds one day.
I walked with Dalton showing him the construction areas that were there.

Then we turned around and we were trying to find Daddy who was super far away.

We were trying to have Dalton sit in the chair by himself but he didn't stay too long before getting right back down for us to chase him haha.

The flight on the way home was kind of bumpy because of all the weather that was right off the gulf coast. Luckily Dalton slept once again and did wonderful flying. When we landed Gammy and Uncle Aaron were there to pick us up and as soon as Dalton saw Aaron he SCREAMED him name and was trying to jump off of me to get to him. Gammy took us to eat at Rudy's the best bbq place on the way home and then we went shopping for a bigger crate for Aggie and showed all of our pictures and movies to Uncle Aaron and Gammy. We had the best time and already can't wait to go on another family vacation:):):)

Disney World Vacation Day 6 and 7

Today was awesome!!! We had a relaxing day and decided not to go to any parks. Our feet were killing us from the past three days haha. We played some shuffle board in the morning and Dalton kicked around his Mickey Mouse bouncy ball that he got the night before. Then we decided we would go to Downtown Disney to eat lunch at the new TREX restaurant.

This restaurant is amazing!!! It's just like the Rainforest Cafe only it's all dinosaurs and there meteor showers that happen and the solar system is the sky and the dinosaurs go crazy in there. I really wanted to go here since we ate at Rainforest Cafe a couple of nights before. We were going to eat dinner at this place but the line was over a three hour wait so that's why we went to the other side of the lake and ate at Rainforest Cafe instead.

I made Dalton a build a bear triceratops before he was born and recorded his heart beat in my belly and stuck the recording in the build a bear. It's wearing a shirt from the hospital he was born in and his first footprints are on the back of the t shirt. I thought this would be super cool as a memory of when he was inside my tummy and first born. We also have one of the recording devices of his first sounds as a baby that we still need to put in one. Since there was a build a dino here and that was his first stuffed animal, a triceratops, I thought it would be cool to finally let him build one himself. He picked out this dinosaur that had a bunch of spikes on his back. I used to watch land before time over and over when I was little and the dinosaur named spike on that movie well that is the one Dalton decided to build.

Then he was stepping on the pedals so the girl could fill up the dinosaur.

Then he was getting mad because he was ready to hold it already and she had to sew it up first. So he took off running to the bath center and started grabbing all the little clothes that are hanging over there. Finally he was sewn up and ready for Dalton to bathe. We decided to name him Happy because that is his favorite word these days. Dalton was so cute carrying the little house around with his new friend Happy inside of it:):)
We were going to go ahead and eat but it was still a little early so we went to McDonalds that is in Downtown Disney. Let me just say this is one NEAT McDonalds. This picture shows the ceiling and it had little happy meals that were rotating all throughout the restaurant going down this path.
You can guessed why we stopped at McDonalds too, PAPA and his coffee. He stopped at EVERY McDonalds that existed to get a coffee haha. There he is standing holding up his coffee in this one.

Then we realized it was already getting crowded and we were kind of hungry so we went right back to TREX to eat haha. We can never make up our minds lol.

Dalton had so much fun because they put us in a HUGE booth and he didn't have to sit in a high chair. He was laughing and coloring and throwing paper balls back and forth to Papa the whole time waiting for our food.

We ate in the artic chamber which I thought was really cool. This was our view from our table. Right behind us we had a mama and baby triceratops that would stick their heads like right into our table. Dalton thought that was funny when they did that.

Here's Dalton playing toss back and forth with his paper balls. The red cup with the lid right in front of the picture is a light up kids cup just like the big ones at Rainforest. Dalton had no problem drinking out of this cup hahaha. He even figured out that the button to turn it on was on the bottom so if we turned it off he would lift it in the air and stare at the bottom.

Dalton's looking at Chantz like ok can you get me out of here before these things eat me cause I'm so cute hahaha. After we finished eating we went over to the Leggo store. In Leggo land there are so many awesome things that are made out of those little bitty leggos. There is a dragon that's in the water that is made completely out of leggos. Then there is a couple with their son walking the dogs like 8 dogs and they are all made out of leggos. There are so many it's hard to list them all.

This one is with the sealife and it's a shark and then some other sea life all made out of leggos.

And of course Dalton and Daddy wanted their picture in front of the Transformer one. Then we went around on the boat through the lake all around Downtown Disney and got off by Disney Quest. There was a candy store here that was amazing and I always have to get a carmel apple anywhere we go. Well these were mickey mouse apples!!!! How cute were they. They sure were yummy too!!!

After we finished seeing all of Downtown Disney we stopped at Disney's Wide World of Sports. This is a really cool place for sports lovers and I believe they said the Tampa Bay Devil Rays actually play their games here.

Then we went back to the condo and swam and had fun at the pool. You're never going to believe this but we got Nana to go down the slide!!!! I thought she was going to have a heartattack but she did it!!!! We have it on video and it was so cute she kept saying I would really like to see the video of me going down the slide now hahaha. Then we went back to take showers and change. Chantz had made reservations for him and I to go to Arabian Nights which is a dinner show. He even got us VIP!!! It was awesome. Being VIP we got to go into the show room early and meet all the actors and the horses and sit on the horses and take pictures with them. We got to go in the stables and see every horse that was going to perform also.

Chantz and I both picked out our favorite horses and took pictures with them. He said the kind I kept wanting was a Palamino horse. One day we'll have horses!!!

We got a poster with all the actors and horse that's in that bag I'm holding for them to all sign just for being VIP. I'm glad we didn't bring Dalton here because after sitting on all of the horses he would've never wanted to sit down to see the show he would've just wanted to keep petting them haha.

We sat in what looked almost like bleachers on either side of the arena. The show was amazing and I would be scared to death to do some of the things that those people do.

Friday October 9th, 2009

Today we went back to Magic Kingdom. There is so much to see at this park that there was no way we got it done in just one day. We mostly stood in Adventureland and Futureland but we also ventured around to other parts that we loved on Monday for the re-experiencing haha.

When we got there the characters were putting on a show in front of the castle so we got to watch them sing and dance it was really cute!!!
Then Dalton met another Princess to flirt with;) Jasmine!!!! Every time she would touch him he would just squeal and laugh and smile it was so adorable.

We went on the flying carpet ride which was funny because the camel spit on Daddy and he got wet hahaha he kept saying if this camel spits on me I swear and then boom we got in the air and it spit on him. Love you Daddy!!!!

We went in the Swiss Robinson Family treehouse which was pretty neat!!!

Nana kept saying I would never have been able to live like this think of all the animals that could've been looking at you while you sleep hahaha.

We also went on a safari boat ride this day and this is what we saw....

they totally almost ate us hahaha just joking they are fake!!!

We saw Woody and Jessie just as they were walking to take a break darn we'll have to get them next time:(

And of course we went on Splash Mountain!!!! I got Chantz to go on this and The Runaway Train with me. He thought he was going to die but he went on them with me hahaha. He's such a good husband:):) We went on alot of other rides too I just didn't take as many pictures because I didn't know how many I had left on my XD.

We took Dalton back on It's a Small World since it was his favorite ride!!!!

And this time he sat on mommy and as soon as we turned the corner again he was just clapping away and waving his arms around:)

We saw the rabit from Alice In Wonderland heading to the spinning tea cups to go on them and we would've rode with him but we really thought Dalton would've been sick.

We went over to Future land for a little while again and this time we saw Buzz Lightyear. Too bad he was leaving to go on break too so we couldn't get a picture with him:( What is with the Toy Story characters always taking breaks haha. We left a little earlier than last time since Dalton had already seen the light parade. We went back to the condo took a nap and showered and changed and went to eat at Cracker Barrel. I love this place because I LOVE the store and the food is so good. Chantz almost hyperventalated when we walked in because since we were in Florida everything was Gators and Seminoles. Since he is a HUGE HUGE HUGE Tim Teebow fan he put this Gator hat on and wanted just about everything that was there haha. Dalton didn't seem to thrilled he just wanted to chew on the halloween boo ghost candy fan that he found in there. He even got souveniers here. The little ghost fan and a little penguin ball that when you throw it it sings merry christmas and jingle bells!!! Mommy got a cute little pumpkin night light for halloween and I can't wait to go to the cracker barrel here to get more deocrating stuff. They have the cutest things there!!!

That's all for the week. Tomorrow (Saturday) is Sea World and then we're off on our way back home to Texas!!!!
