Today is the day we went to the most magical place on earth....
Magic Kingdom!!!!When you park at Magic Kingdom you have to take a shuttle to get to the ticket booths. Once you buy your tickets you have two choices you can either take the monorail or you can take the ferry. We came to Magic Kingdom two days and the first day, Monday we took the ferry.
Dalton really liked the ferry and when they would blow the horn he would say choochoo:)
Here it is as we're coming up to it. Woohoo we couldn't wait to get inside.
As soon as we got in Dalton's face lit up. It was decorated adorable for halloween. I have been to Disney over 10 times in my life but I have never been during halloween do this was really neat to see all the orange and Mickey pumpkins out. This is the main entrance to Disney World Magic Kingdom so we had to get a picture of our family's first visit.
When we walked in the parade was starting so we hurried up and jumped up to the front so Dalton could see. We have the parade on video and it is so neat. I always love the parades because it is the one time you can see all the characters at one time. There are floats of every movie Disney has ever made and it's awesome for little kids to watch all their favorites go by.
Then of course we started walking in to the park towards Cinderella's Castle.
Chantz wanted to get a picture of the Walt Disney statue with Mickey Mouse that is in the gardens right in front of Cinderella's castle.
We walked through the castle and into Fantasyland. This was by far Dalton's favorite land and held all of his favorite rides. In this land there is Dumbo, It's a small world, Peter Pan, Merry Go Round, Snowhite's Ride, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey's Magic Phillar, Spinning Tea Cups, and Aerial's water play area. We went on all of them except for the spinning tea cups because we thought it would make Dalton sick, but we did see the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland ride in them on our second day while we were there. The first ride we rode was Snowhite because that's the first one we came to.
Dalton, Daddy and Poppy standing in line waiting to get on Snowhite's Ride.
Dalton and I sitting in the little logs that you sit in on Snowhite. Goofy nana is sitting with a washcloth on because she said she was sweating haha. This ride was the one ride that made Dalton cry. It was very scarey and I can't believe that they would have this at Disney World. I thought Snowhite would be fun and bright and the seven dwarfs dancing around with her but it wasn't, it was all about the witch and her hurting Snowhite and it was very dark and spooky. Let's just say every ride we rode after that we were sure to read if it was scarey for younger kids.
Then we went on what was Dalton's favorite ride there. It's a small world. This is him sitting on Daddy in the boat on the ride. Chantz said this is the longest most repetative ride he's every been on hahaha and he had to ride it twice since it was Dalton's favorite. Poor Chantz. Dalton clapped his hands as soon as the boat turned the first corner and he didn't stop until we returned at the front again. After that we ate lunch at Pinocchio's Restaurant that overlooks the It's a small world ride. Dalton enjoyed watching other people go through the ride while he was eating. Then when we were all full we decided to go see Aerial.
Aerial had a long line so Daddy stodd in line and Mommy kept Dalton entertained by playing in the water with him.
I took this picture when I switched places with Chantz and he went to play with Dalton. Aerial is in this cave over here to my left and then all on the right is part of the water play area that is there for kids to play in and cool off. That is Dalton and Chantz where the flying water is about to hit.
Finally we got to see Aerial.
She was one of Dalton's favorite characters because of course she's a princess and I have the biggest little flirt there is haha. He loved Aerial and as soon as she said hi there little guy he just lit up and was laughing and smiling at her the whole time.
Then we went on Peter Pan's ride which was alot of fun. This ride you are actually flying in the air and go through the whole story of Peter Pan. Dalton was waving to the fairies that were in the water. They looked like little mermaids so I guess he thought they were a bunch of Aerial's haha. I told you how Dalton loves Pooh Bear yesterday. Well today we got to see him in person!!!! Chantz waited in line IN THE RAIN to get pictures with Tigger and Pooh. Chantz is such a good Daddy he wanted to get Dalton's picture with everyone that he loved no matter what the conditions were. Dalton, I, nana and papa waited in Mickey's Phillar Magic and got our fast passes for Pooh's ride while Daddy was waiting. The rain quit after a couple of minutes and we went over there to get our pictures.
Look how excited Dalton got when he realized we were going to be riding in hunny jars with Pooh bear during the ride. This was another ride that Dalton really liked. He waved to the figures of Tigger, Pooh and Piglet and them while we were going through the ride and had a great time.
After Pooh Bear we decided to make our way over to Mickey Mouse land.
Mikey Mouses's land is really neat it has a bunch of cute rides as well as Mickey Mouses House and Minnie Mouses House.
We went through Minnie Mouses's house first and this is Dalton and I sitting on her fireplace. He has chocolate all over his face because he was just eating some dibs, his favorite thing to eat haha.
Here is him and nana by her telephone area. She had a desk with her phone and some paper and stuff that she used to take messages when Mickey Mouse called her:)
And now to Mickey Mouse's house. Here is him and Papa in front of his house with the big giant mickey pumpkin in the front yard. I told Dalton to tell the camera hi that is what he's yelling in this picture.
Here is Dalton sitting on Mickey Mouses mailbox waiting for Daddy and nana to catch up.
In Mickey Mouses backyard of course there is Pluto's dog house that Dalton and Daddy are standing by.
Then Mickey also has a veggie garden and his very own pumpkin patch in his backyard.
Here we are with Mickey and Minnie!!! We saw them after walking through their houses and they were in a little barn near the back of their homes.
At this point Dalton was getting tired and ended up falling asleep so we went over to futureland. Chantz and I went on the stich ride which was a little disappointing it looks like much better on tv. When we got done with stich we decided to try buzz lightyear's ride. This is Dad and Dalton about to get on the buzz lightyear ride. This was one of my favorite rides. You ride around in this little car and you have to shoot all of the powerful zurgs signs with your gun on the front of your seat. Whoever shoots the most wins at the end of the ride.

Here is nana and papa in their car right behind us. Papa ended up winning out of all four of us playing. How crazy!!!
Around the middle of this ride Dalton decided to wake up and help daddy shoot the zurg signs. Since he was awake we wanted to take him on the little shuttle ride that goes all around futureland. We really wanted to ride space mountain because I LOVE that ride but it was shut down for remodeling so we couldn't go on it. Here's nana and papa sitting across from us on the shuttle.
And our little bitty family together. Dalton liked this ride it gave us a wonderful breeze and actually went alot faster than I remember it going. Thank goodness we were on other side of him so he didn't blow out. This ride goes above the whole land of future land which is neat because you have to take this moving ramp up to get on it and it was really empty which was great because then we got to ride it twice.
After our rides on the shuttle we decided to go on the carasouel of progress ride.
Nana and papa in front of the moving building which was where the progress ride was inside of. This building moved to four different stages where it basically showed you how life was back in the 20's all the way until current day so you could see the "progress". It was really neat and interesting.
Chantz and I sitting in our seat waiting for the ride to start. I dont know if I would've liked this ride as a kid but I enjoyed it now.
After that we were done with future land as far as what Dalton could ride so we decided to go get a bite to eat and cool off some from the heat. We ate at this really cute restaurant in the middle of futureland and cinderella's castle. There was a little monster dressed up that was playing on band instruments in the front of the restaurant and Dalton loved dancing to his music. It was like chuck e cheese in there and it was very refreshing to get some cool air in the ac. After we were done eating we wanted to check the line on dumbo since we didn't get to ride it earlier. So we went back to fantasyland.
And we rode dumbo!!!! This is my Uncle Michael's favorite ride haha, he will wait two hours to ride this ride everytime we come to disney world.
While waiting in line for dumbo dalton was talking to the photopass like it was a cell phone haha. He was saying hi and holding it up to his ear it was so cute. At least it kept him entertained because we had to wait for a little while. The photopasses are a little card that the photographers at the parks will scan after taking your picture and then you can go and order your shots that they took of you by showing your card.
Finally it was our turn on dumbo and I took a picture of Chantz and Dalton in the dumbo before I jumped in with them. It was alot of fun flying in the air on dumbo.
Of course being in the air right next to the merry go round dalton spotted it and wanted to go on it so we took him on another merry go round:):)
I loved it because this was the one place in the world that allows you to sit on the horse with your child rather than just stand on the side. Dalton liked that I was right behind him even though I may have squished him a little.
There is a train that goes all around the outskirts of the park to take you to different lands throughout the day if you would rather ride than walk.
We knew it was getting close to time for fireworks and the light parade so we took the train over to the front "main street" to go ahead and get a good seat.
Here's nana dalton and I on our half of the seat on the train. Our little man is clapping away again.
And Chantz and Poppy on their half of the seat. Chantz surprised Poppy taking this picture as you can tell haha. That's the train station behind me and Dalton in the front of the park.
Once we got off the train it was pretty dark outside already. It was only 7 and the parade didn't start until 8. So we decided to just stay close to the front and walk around the shops and stuff. There were little kids playing with a parachute with handles and bouncing a ball inside the paracute. Well Dalton went to go be a part of it and got really mad when they started shaking the paracute to make the ball move and took his hands down and started yelling at them haha. It was pretty funny but we took him over to show him the pumpkin people instead so he wouldn't get aggrevated anymore.
Chantz being dorky because I asked him to pose by some of the pumpkin people so he's acting silly "posing". You can kind of see the main street with the shops all lit up behind him and they were on the sides too.
I just thought these pumpkin people were just adorable. I had to get pictures of them and I wish I was that talented to create that in our decorations haha.
The cook one was my favorite. And below is the main street all lit up and I just loved the way it looked. It's kind of a bad picture I just couldn't get my camera to cooperate with me.
While we were waiting and the parade was about to start, these little cart with all light up toys came by and I knew Dalton would have so much fun with one of these so we bought him one of the light up wands.
He sure did have a blast with that thing. He was wacking it into everything and I shouldn't thought about that better that what was he going to do with it after the parade was over and we were back home, hmm wack mommy and aggie and daddy and furniture haha..
While Dalton was running around with his sword thing with nana chasing him, Chantz and I and Poppy were waiting on the sidewalk to save our seats and man did we have great seats.
And then the parade started!!!! I love the light parade. It's always so neat how they get everything to light up. The pictures don't even give it justice but here are some.
Here is the Genie's float from Aladdin that's him up there on top and he was singing and dancing. They had every character from every movie again here in this parade and my favorite float was probably the crystal ball that was all lit up and drug by horses with cinderella and the prince inside waving. I would love to be riding in that all lit up oh it was just gorgeous!
Something pretty funny happened during the parade. We were sitting on the side where the poles were that connected with ropes to hold the people out of the streets. Well in the middle of Mickey's float going through this lady and her son come flying almost into his float and the guys that work at Disney hold her and her son back. Well she starts yelling at the top of her lungs we need to go now you get your hands off of him and charging the poor guy that works at disney. She is like throwing herself into him to knock him down and yelling that her son needs to leave now and he wasn't doing anything wrong. HELLO he almost went right into Mickey's float in the parade. It was hilarious I just felt so bad for the little guy that worked at the park for having to deal with her unreal self.
After the parade we went ahead and left to go home because the park wasn't going to be open that much longer anyways and we were ready to go home and shower and change. It was an awesome exciting fun day. We had more fun than words can even describe. We took the ferry back to the car again and it was beautiful all lit up at nightime. When we got home Dalton was still on an energy high and running around with his light up sword. But, we finally got him to go to sleep. Tomorrow is the day we went to Disney World Animal Kingdom!!!
Dalton really liked the ferry and when they would blow the horn he would say choochoo:)

What a fun vacation! I loved reading about your trip and seeing all of the pictures. You did an excellent job at capturing everything forever! I haven't been in about 12 years - I can't wait to take Logan sometime! That's so sad there was a scary ride, though, poor Dalton. :( He is such a cutie.
Thank you for the comment on my post yesterday - I was worried you were gone because I'd tried to go to your page several times recently from my favorites and it said it was no longer found - now I see it's because you have a new blog address - so I updated it :) Anyway, that is so neat that Dalton called you "mom" on Tuesday, too!!!
Have I already told you I'm jealous!? Ok well I am. That is so cute that Dalton was flirting with the little mermaid. I remember yall being at the house and anytime I would smile and say "Dalton" he would duck his head and look up smiling with those bashful eyes. He is adorable!!
Looks like you guys had so much fun! I want to go back with my hubby now.
