Then this past weekend on Saturday was my Company Christmas Party. I work with the assembly department so we all decided to have ours at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse. Let me tell you if you have never eaten there, DO it's amazing!!!! And Dalton behaved wonderful because they cook right in front of you so he watched everything that was going on. Some of our employees couldn't make it but we still had a great time.
Then on Sunday we had to chill out and do some of my school work for my mini mester class. Dalton was chilling in his pajamas when I realized, he was sticking my keys in the gas on/off switch!! He thought it was a key hole hahaha.
I love how he's standing so proud of himself like look mommy I did it!!! Later that day Brittany came to see us because she's in town and we were SOOOOO happy to see her. Her and I have been best friends for years and she moved to California right after we graduated high school and can only come down so often. But the good news is she's home for a whole week!!! And she just told us that she's moving home permanently in less than a year!!! So we are super happy about that.I thought I would show you just the mantel in our house right now for our Christmas decorations. I'll show you both our living room and dining room trees hopefully this week before Christmas, HA!!!
These Mister and Mrs. Santa Clauses are VERY OLD they are like 40 years old and I even had to glue back Mrs. Clause's poor head because it had fallen off in the bin this year. My grandmother made these a very long time ago and I hope they can stay in tact so I can one day give them to my kids.
This of course if my FAVORITE Christmas decoration in the house!!! I just love that little Santa, he's so darn cute I could eat his cheeks!!
I didn't do too much this year I wanted to keep it simple and the reason there are twigs on one side and not the other is because my little baby boy grabbed them out and ran around the house with them laughing:):) I just took this picture before I had put them back so it looks silly.

This is a picture of our Aggie that the breeder emailed to me when he was little bitty. He was just a little bigger than this when we first got him and how he has grown to the HUGE bear he has become beats me. We love him though and Dalton would just be lost without him now. They are best friends and as soon as we get home immediatley Dalton starts calling "Aggie, Aggie". And let me tell you he must be made out of armour because he has now eaten a whole bottle of flinstone vitamins, licked up some amoxcillian, and eaten about three glass ornaments that Dalton broke on the floor and this crazy dog is still here and better than ever. I was crazy scared each and every time but thankfully he pulled through all of them and now I am hoping there are no more instances like this. So Happy Birthday Aggie I can't believe you are already 6 Months old and even though you drive me crazy sometimes I love you with all my heart!!!
Our hotel and gas were paid for and then Chantz got paid for playing so it was a nice way to get away for a little while and have some extra spending money for Christmas. Dalton loved jumping on the beds as you can see in the pictures.
But he didn't really like being cooped up in the room. I think he just gets chlostrophobic in hotel rooms because when we were in Florida for our Disney Trip he did great but we were in our timeshare which is the size of a small house but everytime since he's been born if we're in a hotel room he gets so fussy. He kept going to the door and saying buh bye and then he wold bring me his shoes. Saturday when daddy had to go play, Dalton and I packed up and drove to Fort Worth to see Uncle Robert. We were going to go to the zoo with him but since it was only 23 degrees there they said over 90% of the animals were up. Uncle Rob and I joked about so what are you going to do in Africa if they ever get a freeze hahaha go around and build a bunch of heated cages for them to go into?? After finding this out we took Dalton to Trinity Park to play with the ducks.
Dalton had a blast running through all the leaves and kicking his sponge bob ball around.
Him and Uncle Robert were running up that very big hill and I was very nervous at the bottom. I just kept seeing Dalton rolling down the hill in my mind but luckily that didn't happen:)
Dalton loved playing with the ducks he was telling them "wack wack" whenever they would start talking to him. He even said it in this funny raspy voice which was hilarious. We bought him a new lightning mcqueen beanie with the matching gloves and to my surprise he actually kept them on while we were out. Last year he wouldn't keep them on for anything so that was wonderful that he did this year. AND he was holding his little toy truck tube that had candy in it and would not let go of that thing no matter what. Luckily Daddy's team was out by the end of the first day so we were able to go and eat dinner with him at Outback and go shopping in the Galleria there in Dallas. It was decorated Beautiful and they had a christmas tree that reminded me so much of rockefeller center I kept imagining we were in New York!!! That next morning we ate a good breakfast and headed home. When we all woke up we were stuffed up and coughing really bad.
Our little angel was AMAZING in the car there and back which totally shocked me. Usually he has a fit but this time he was GREAT!!! That next day I took off with him because him and I were not any better and we went to go to the doctor.

Best Buy and Ritz both had it and even though it was cheaper at Best Buy I didn't want to wait in those long crazy lines there so we hit Ritz instead. We were actually surprised it didn't take us that long to get it at Ritz there were only like two other people in the store. We stopped at JCPennys on the way out and got two one pound down pillows that have improved our sleeping ALOT so far and then we went to Toys R Us to see what they had out. Let me tell you that place was pretty funny!!! We just got a couple of things but people were knocking things over everywhere and running and scrambling through the aisles like it was a life or death matter. We only had to wait about 15 minutes in line and I got to look around while Chantz waited so it wasn't really bad at all. We were right near Target after that and chantz said why don't we just go in there to laugh at everyone. Well let me tell you this store was CRAZY!!! The line just to check out was over a 4 HOUR WAIT!!! Are people insane?? I mean I could never wait that long in line to check out with my things I don't care how much money I was saving. And that was just to check out in the entertainment area to check out in the normal lines was even longer. The line wrapped around the whole entire store TWICE with going in and out of aisles. We thought it was just hilarious to watch all of these people act so silly. We went to eat a good breakfast at Dennys which was very nice to take a break from all the shopping. Then we went home and I started putting up the Thanksgiving decorations while Chantz got ready for the Renissance. Gigi and Dalton arrive shortly after and we were on our way!!!

Dalton was so tiny back then!!!

Dalton got to experience his first Pony Ride while we were here. I know there's a lot of pictures but it was his first ride and I just had to get a ton for memories:)

We were cheering for the red and blue knight!!

Our little man slept the whole way home he was so pooped from the adventureous day he had.
