First Trip to the Dentist

So as you know Dalton chipped his tooth on the 4th of July. We decided to take him to the dentist immediatley even though he was so small. We wanted to make sure there was no major damage done to the root or nerves. So we brought him to a pediatrics dentist on Monday July 6th. Chantz and I both had braces and I had to have spacers to expand my jaw bone to make room for all my teeth when I was little. We hope Dalton does not inherit our teeth troubles that we have had as children. I really thought this was going to be a lot worse than it was. I thought Dalton was going to have a freak out and yell and scream and not want to sit in the chair. As always he amazes me and proved me wrong once again. He was an angel. He just sat there and let him look in his mouth to examine him. I of course was running late and missed the whole thing that's why there are no pictures, but I got there in time to see him walking out. I was walking towards the wrong building because I never take the address to places with me ha and I heard "mommy" behind me and I turned around and there was Chantz and Dalton holding hands walking towards me. As soon as I turned around Dalton let go of his hand and came running into my arms. I had been at work all day and he was at home with Chantz for the day. It was the best feeling in the world:) He was carrying his little goody bag that he got and we stood there a minute and looked at all of the cute little things he got in there. Then I put him in the car and we all went home. Luckily we got good news about his tooth. He said that when babies teeth come in they come in rounded and by the time they are around two they have worn them down to where they are square in shape. He said the part that Dalton chipped is just what he would've worn down anyways so by the time he is two his tooth should look fine. It's not that big of a chip and right now I think we are the only ones who notice it because we know it's there. We are just so happy it's just a minor thing and Dalton's not in any pain. Let's not get any more chips though!!! These are two pictures of Dalton holding onto his sponge bob that he stole from Uncle Aaron's room (sorry Uncle Aaron) on the way home from the dentist:)
