Dalton's New Little Brother

So we have been looking for a new little member for our family for a while. We were going to get an older rescue lab so that it would already be house broken and crate trained and know not to bite Dalton but the Southeast Lab Rescue was seriously taking forever with our application and then at the last minute told us the dog we had originally picked out the people with an application in front of ours had taken so we decided to get a puppy instead. We looked long and hard to find the right one and boy when we went out on Friday night we hit it right on the dot. We brought little "Aggie" home with us Friday night after taking him to Pets mart to buy him some new toys, food, leash and collar, food and water bowls and of course some treats!!! He has been in the crate that was my chihuahuah's crate at night time for the past two nights and done pretty well in it. We are going to get him a bigger one this coming weekend that he will be able to stay in all the way through adult hood. I know what you're thinking that the crate is probably the size of a shoe box but it's actually just the right size for him right now. It's a medium sized crate because I always wanted the chiuahuah to feel like he had room so he had a big area to be in. Of course after talking to the breeder and learning how fast these pups grow he probably won't fit in it anymore in a month anyways so we're going to get him a big one. I kept saying that I wanted a yellow lab because I thought that was the color that the white labs were called. I have never heard of a cream lab I just thought they were yellow but when we got there I was like wait a minute I don't want one that golden I want it lighter so she showed me what they called the cream labs and that was what we got. At first we were going to get a girl since I am still the only girl in the house but she had brought out the daddy to show him to us and Chantz fell in love. The mommy was pretty too but that daddy was gorgeous and so tall and muscular and weighs 110 pounds. That is more than me!!! I almost died when she said this one should be just as big if not a couple pounds bigger. How am I even going to move it ha. I have always had little lap dogs but I am excited to have a big protecting dog. Needless to say he is a very calm and good dog so far, of course he has had a couple of accidents in the house but all number one no number two which is great and that's usual of puppies for a couple of weeks. He turned 7 weeks on Saturday and he looks so small and cute but when you look at his paws you can just tell he is going to be huge. We're going to have a mini horse not a dog ha! We decided to name him Rocky at first and then I decided I liked the name Roscoe instead. So we put those two names and also the name Aggie (Chantz's favorite team in the world) into a hat and let Dalton draw. Dalton drew Aggie and I was like no lets not name him that let him pick another one. Well as I was finishing my sentence Dalton said "Ahhddieee" and I was like omg that is so cute he wants him to be named that. So we stuck with the name Aggie!!! Now he calls him either "ajjiee" or "adddiiee" and when we tell him call him over here he squats down on the floor and pats the floor to tell him to come near him. At first Dalton was a little jealous over the whole him not getting all the attention and mommy and daddy holding something else instead of him but by Saturday evening they were best friends. Dalton runs and looks behind him to make sure Aggie is chasing him and then when Aggie catches him he'll lick Dalton's hands and Dalton cracks up. Dalton pushes his lawn mower around and Aggie follows him and Dalton thinks it is so funny. Every time he wakes up he and he really "wakes up" he says "Ajjiiee" like a question sounding and we say ok hold on you can see him in a minute and Dalton gets so excited. He runs right for his crate and he gets really upset if we put him in there and Aggie starts crying. Dalton is very gentle with him too. If Aggie is sleeping on the floor and Dalton is walking and accidently steps on his tail he will look down pick up his foot and pat Aggie like he's saying sorry. Aggie doesn't move though ha. He just sleeps through it all. I know you probably want to see a picture of him and I only have one right now that the breeder had emailed me. The other one she emailed me is on my other computer and the others of him and Dalton are all on the camera and haven't been downloaded yet so stay tuned for more. This is one though for now..... He looks just like that little white lab puppy on that flea commerical that sings "there aint no bugs on me"

There are a ton of different ones around like The Harry Potter. I bet if you googled ceramics in your area you would find one. It was a lot of fun!

I didn't know you were so close to Old Town Spring. That's probably why you know it so well! :)We love driving to the Woodlands it is so pretty! We live in Katy in the Cinco Ranch area.

Hope you are having a great week. Happy hump day!
