Today my little baby brother is turning 16!!!! Every year I feel like I'm supposed to get one year older but he is just supposed to stay still and stop growing up because he is my "baby" brother. My brother and I have a special relationship where throughout our lives we've been best friends and we've been worst enemies. I remember when we were little and we would argue and fight about everything and our mom would tell us you better be nice to each other because you're all each other has and we would always say we don't care or we'll just be alone it doesn't bother us. Well now that we're older and we've matured out of the "he's sitting to close to me on the couch" we are very close. We have had things and people who have tried to pull us apart from each other and resent each other but in the end the failed and I think because of everything we've been through together throughout our lives that's why we have the bond we do. I was six when he was born so I kind of took on the "second mommy" role for a while and even though I am not his mom sometimes still to this day he is more scared to tell me things like he is failing a class than our own mom. I am so proud of him, not that we had horrible lives, but we've gone through some horrible situations and for how he is as a person today makes me very proud of how he's turning out despite the bad. I can't believe in two years he will be graudating high school. I remember when he was going into his freshman year I told my mom "wait a minute he's not supposed to be going to high school he's supposed to stay little forever" it's just hard for me to see him and my cousin Tyler growing up so fast into these mature guys who are driving now and getting jobs:( It really makes me realize how quickly time does go by and how I wish I could just stall it sometimes especially with Dalton growing up since he will be two in just 7 days!!!
A very Happy 16th birthday Aaron, Chantz and I love you as if you were our child and Dalton loves you probably the most of our anybody in this world:) We all are very happy for you with all you've accomplished so far and there is so much more that you will accomplish in the future.
Just some pictures during these past couple months with Dalton:) He loves his Uncle Aaron so much that as soon as we drive down the road to their neighborhood he starts calling his name or should I say yelling his name with excitement:):):)

Happy birthday to your brother! I loved reading about your relationship. That's great that Dalton has such a wonderful uncle. And happy birthday to Dalton, too!
